Stipend: The rate of stipend to apprentices per month will be by the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/ Apprentices Rules 1992 (as modified) and Corporation”s guidelines.

Apprenticeship duration:

# Technician Apprentice (Elect/Mech/T&I): 12 months

# Trade Apprentices (Assistant HR/Accountant): 12 months

# Data Entry Operator & the domestic data Entry Operator: 12 months

Eligibility Criteria of IOCL Pipelines Division Recruitment

Age Limit: Minimum age of 18 years and a maximum of 24 years as of 12.01.2024 .

Age Relaxation: The relaxation of the the upper limit of age for reserved categories is as follows:

# SC/ST: 5 years

# OBC/MOBC: 3 years

# PwBD: 10 years

#PwBD-OBC (Non creamy layer) 13 years

# PwBD-SC/ST – 15 years

Educational Qualification:

# Technician Apprentice-Mechanical: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering from a Govt. recognized institution/university:

I) Mechanical Engineering

II) Automobile Engineering

# Technician Apprentice-Electrical: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration/10+2) full-time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering from a Govt. recognized institution/university:

I) Electrical Engineering

II) Electrical & Electronics Engineering

# Technician Apprentice-Telecommunication & Instrumentation: Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering from a Govt. recognized institution/university:

I) Electronics & Communication Engineering

II) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

III) Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering

iv) Instrumentation & Control Engineering

V) Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering

vi) Electronics Engineering

#Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource) : Full-time Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) from a Govt. recognized institute/University.

# Trade Apprentice” (Accountant) : Full-time Master’s Degree (Graduation) with a major in commerce from a govt. recognized institute/University.

# Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices): Minimum 12th pass (but less than graduation).

# Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): Minimum 12th class (but less than Graduate). In addition, applicants must possess a Skill Certificate as a “Domestic Data Entry Operator” in the case of training less than a year, issued by an awarding organization recognized by the National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other body recognized as such by Central Govt.

After successful registration with the above agencies, a registration number will be generated and the candidate has to mention this registration number while applying for apprentice positions in the Indian Oil Pipelines portal at https://plapps.indianoilpipelines.in/.
