DEE Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Applicants must be Assamese citizens who have lived there permanently.
Age Criteria: As of January 1, 2023, a candidate cannot be less than 18 or older than 40.

Small Family Norms: Under government policy, no individual who has more than two live children from a single or multiple partners on or after January 1, 2021, will be eligible for an appointment.
Medium of Instruction: Either the Language-I of the ATET and CTET of the applicants should match the medium of instruction of the school to wherein the candidate intends to apply.
Qualifications for ATET/CTET: Candidates who have passed the ATET/CTET for UP or LP are qualified to apply.
Educational Qualification: Post-wise educational criteria for different vacancies are listed below-
Assistant Teacher (LP)
Qualifications: Two-year diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known) and senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50%.

Two-year diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known) and graduation.
Assistant Teacher (UP)
Qualification: A 2-year diploma in elementary education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (special education) or B.Ed (special education) and a graduate degree from a university recognized by the UGC.
Science Instructor (UP)
Qualification: Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education) and B. Sc. from a university recognized by the UGC.
Hindi Instructor (UP)
Qualification: A two-year diploma in elementary education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (special education) or B.Ed (Special education) and a graduate degree in Hindi as one of the subjects from a university recognized by the UGC.
