Department Name: Director of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar

Pay scale: PB-2 of Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 70,000 + Grade Pay and additional benefits allowed by law.

BTC Kokrajhar Teacher Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Applicants must be Assamese citizens who have lived there permanently.

Age Criteria: As of January 1, 2023, a candidate cannot be less than 18 or older than 40.

Relaxation of Age:

* Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
* OBC/MOBC: 3 years
* SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years
* Persons with Disability (PwD): 10 years

Small Family Norms: In accordance with government policy, no individual who has more than two live children from a single or multiple partners on or after January 1, 2021, will be eligible for an appointment.

Medium of Instruction: Either the Language-I of the ATET, CTET, or BTC TET of the applicants should match the medium of instruction of the school wherein the candidate intends to apply.

Qualifications for ATET/CTET: Candidates who have passed the ATET/CTET for UP or LP are qualified to apply.

Educational Qualification: Post-wise educational criteria for different jobs are listed below.

Assistant Teacher (LP)

Qualifications: two-year diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known) and senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50%

Assistant Teacher (UP)

Qualifications: a 2-year diploma in elementary education, a B. Ed. or D. Ed. (special education), and a graduate degree from a university recognized by the UGC (special education).

Science Instructor (UP)

Qualifications: Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed., B. Ed. (Special Education), or B. Sc. from a university recognized by the UGC.

Hindi Instructor (UP)

Qualification: A two-year diploma in elementary education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (special education) and a graduate degree in Hindi as one of the subjects from a university recognized by the UGC.
