SSC CHSL Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01-08-2024 i.e. Candidates born not before 02-08-1997 and not later than 01-08-2006 are eligible to apply.
# Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
# LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry mentioned above): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Scheme of CHSL Examination
Candidates applied online for Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Exam and found eligible will have to appear in Computer Based Examinations to be held in two tiers:
# Tier-I
# Tier-II
Marks scored by candidates in Computer Based Examinations, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized by using the formula published by the Commission and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.
Tier I (Computer Based Examination)
The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set in English, Hindi and any language opted by the candidate in the application form.

Total marks: 200 marks
No of questions: 100 questions
Negative marking: There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
